Golfers can choose from 4 different award winning courses; Crystal Springs, Wild Turkey, Ballyowen or Black Bear; all conveniently located at Crystal Springs Resort. There are also plenty of ways for non-golfers to participate!
Wild Turkey
Wild Turkey Golf Club Perennially ranked as one of NJ’s Top Public Courses by Zagat’s, Golf Week and Golf Digest. Featuring both parkland and heathland design elements, Wild Turkey’s predominantly basin and ridge layout offers the most panoramic vistas at the Resort. The wide fairways and moderately contoured greens make for a very playable course across all skills levels. With a location adjacent to the new Grand Cascades Lodge, Wild Turkey is the ideal choice for a Golf & Stay experience.
Crystal Springs
This rugged Von Hagge design ranks among “America’s Top 50 Toughest Golf Courses” by Golf Digest. Comprising several holes selected within New Jersey’s Top 100, Crystal Springs offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Northeast. Although the back tees play at just 6,808, the audacious collection of moguls, undulations and clifflined quarries provide for an unparalleled test of shot-making and game management.
Ballyowen
The award-winning Ballyowen Golf Club was designed by Roger Rulewich, the longtime lead design associate for Hall of Fame designer Robert Trent Jones Sr. Rulewich applied all of the design knowledge he acquired from Trent Jones Sr. to create a modern day classic with links-style features that are spread out over 250 acres atop a plateau, and highlighted by 360-degree views overlooking the spirited Wallkill River. Similar to Irelands courses, the Celtic atmosphere transitions over to the clubhouse’s Owen’s Pub, where golfers are entertained by the serenade of the bagpiper every evening.
Black Bear
Created to satisfy players of every skill level, Black Bear is the perfect New Jersey golf course for casual and serious golfers alike. Rolling hills, pristine fairways, and beautiful water features make this one of the best golf courses in NJ, rated "very good to excellent" by Zagat. Designed by famed developer Jack Kurlander and opened in 1996, the course stretches 6,673 yards and features diverse terrain, scenery, and shot selection. Weekly events, exclusive offers, and tempting food and beverage options at the clubhouse ensure there’s something for everyone here.
