El Mundo del Niño is an early learning program within Catholic Family & Community Services with committed staff who provide developmentally appropriate educational experiences so that all students acquire the knowledge & skills essential to lifelong learning. We work closely with families as partners in the educational process and we support parents as they advocate on behalf of their families.
The school day runs from 8:00 to 3:00, with before care starting at 7:00 a.m. and aftercare running until 4:30 p.m. from September through June. We also offer a summer enrichment program in July and August.
Our collaborative effort with Paterson Public Schools, the Department of Children & Families, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) helps our highly qualified teaching staff scaffold student learning and improve outcomes for all whom we serve.
