El Mundo de Colores, first opened its doors in 1992. Through our long standing collaboration with the Department of Early Childhood Education, Paterson School District, the program provides full-time high quality educational instruction and care to 120 multi-ethnic, predominately low-income children from three to five years of age. In addition to the instructional day the program offers family support services, afterschool care and a summer Kindergarten Readiness Program.

El Mundo de Colores is licensed through the State of New Jersey, Department of Children and Families and is NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accredited.
