The Bob Jacob Unmet Needs Fund

For 37 years, Bob Jacob devoted his life to the Catholic Charities' mission of helping, caring for, and empowering those most in need. He set an example for all of us, that with compassion, kindness, commitment and perseverance, we can all carry out our life’s plan in God’s time to serve others.

Bob passed away suddenly and tragically on June 12, 2022. He was the Executive Director of Catholic Family and Community Services at the time of his passing. Bob was more than a supervisor. He was a friend who cared deeply about employees, volunteers, and service recipients alike. His presence among us will be missed.

Through the generosity, leadership, and kindness of Bob's family; his wife Mary and his children Lisa, Jonathan and Sarah; Catholic Charities has proudly created the Bob Jacob Unmet Needs Fund. 

This fund will help those most in need: people struggling with food insecurity, families living in poverty, and individuals impacted by sudden crises. The Bob Jacob Unmet Needs Fund will provide help and create hope for people who are unable to receive any other source of financial support and will directly prevent homelessness, provide shelter, and bring joy to those who are struggling because of unforsceen circumstances.
