Basile Apartments is a supervised apartment program located in two condominium units in Wayne, NJ. Basile Apartments provides help and creates hope for 6 men with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Basile Apartments opened (after six months of renovation) at 387 Grand Street, Paterson on December 13,1986. Basile Apartments was named in memory of Michael Basile, Sr. who was an employee of DPD for 13 years until his untimely death in 1983.
In 1994, Basile Apartments relocated to Kings Arms Apartments in Wayne. In 1996, Basile Apartments moved once again to new condominium apartments, where they have remained since.
