Christmas 2015
Greetings All:

Each year I write a Christmas message to share with our Catholic Charities friends. I struggled settling upon a theme and message for this year. Then I went to Haiti for a week in November to volunteer with the Missionaries of the Poor (MOP) at their compound in Cap Haitien. One of the brothers' homes on their compound is called "Bethlehem". And so my theme came to me. I just returned from Bethlehem as Advent begins. We can all find Bethlehem and we do not have to go to the Holy Land to do so. It could be in Haiti and it could easily be in your own community. Look for Bethlehem.

Have a Bethlehem, joy-filled and blessed Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

For well over a century, the Catholic Church in New Jersey has provided adoption services. Throughout all those years, the Church promised to honor the privacy of birth parents and adoptees. That promise of privacy also was assured by law and affirmed by the State Superior Court.

Those promises can no longer be kept.
